The Doppelherz system with the formula EYE PLUS VISION + PROTECTION + TEAR FILM FORMULA is contained in two capsules. Selected vitamins and trace elements. Polyunsaturated fatty acids provide the eyes with nutrients. The capsule also contains 15 mg of lutein + 1 mg of zeaxanthin and the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid, as well as vitamins A, C, E, B12 and B6, the omega-3 fatty acid DHA, and the trace elements selenium and zinc. It also contains the plant substances lutein and zeaxanthin. Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. The cornea can only absorb vitamin A through the tear film. In addition, vitamin A supports the maintenance of mucous membranes, including the conjunctiva of the eye. The trace element zinc also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. Zinc supports normal vitamin A metabolism. The omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), found in the retinal photoreceptor cells, contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. Lutein and zeaxanthin are mainly found in plant foods such as green vegetables. The so-called macula of the retina contains high concentrations of lutein and zeaxanthin. The "yellow spot" is located in the center of the back of the eye. Vitamin B6 supports normal protein metabolism and the normal function of the nervous system. Vitamin B12 contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism and is involved in cell division.
